Vangel Kodjoman The Younger (born 1986) is a visual artist whose practice spans painting, drawing, and multimedia approaches, with a strong emphasis on conceptual depth, material sensitivity, and visual intensity. He holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) and works within a contemporary artistic framework that integrates formal exploration with philosophical reflection and interdisciplinary research.
His artistic language is rooted in painting as a primary medium, yet it frequently expands toward mixed media and experimental processes. Conceptually, his practice engages with questions of time, memory, and existential presence, drawing inspiration from art history, contemporary visual culture, and theoretical discourses. The artist approaches each body of work as a research-driven process, where intuition and analysis coexist, and where the act of creating becomes both a visual and cognitive investigation, allowing space for ambiguity, interpretation, and emotional resonance.
Kodjoman The Younger has presented his work in solo and group exhibitions in national and international contexts, participating in curated projects, institutional shows, and public art initiatives. His practice reflects a sustained commitment to artistic research and professional development, positioning his work within the broader field of contemporary visual art.
He is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Visual Arts, further advancing his research and expanding his visual vocabulary while maintaining a strong painterly identity.
